LeadBox ("we", "us", or "our") operates the LeadBox - Maps Lead Extractor Chrome extension. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data processed by our extension. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle, collect, and safeguard data in connection with your use of the extension.

1. Principle of Minimalist Permissions & Least Privilege

The extension is designed to request the absolute minimum permissions required to perform its functions. We do not access your browsing history, cookies (unless specifically required for active SaaS login authentication), or unrelated website data.

2. Data Collection and Usage

The extension captures publicly visible business listings (such as business name, website URL, address, phone number, rating, reviews count, and social link profiles) from your own active browser session on Google Maps and Google Search results. This data is processed as follows:

Local Storage (Default): All captured lead information, settings, and extraction sessions are stored directly on your computer's local storage (using IndexedDB and chrome.storage). This data remains on your machine and is under your direct control.
Secure SaaS Synchronization (Optional): If you choose to log in with a LeadBox account and enable SaaS synchronization, the extension securely transmits the extracted lead fields via HTTPS to the configured LeadBox SaaS portal (located at https://app.leadbox.co.in) to build and maintain your database list.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information or extracted lead data with third parties. No third-party trackers, beacons, or analytics scripts are embedded in the extension.

4. Data Security

All network communications to our SaaS server are protected using Industry Standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption (HTTPS). Locally stored data is protected within Chrome's extension sandbox, preventing access from unauthorized third-party websites.
